Hits Shows
Hits from The Great Musicals, Hits Reloaded, Christmas Hits, Tiny Tots Hits..... Are just some of the many productions performed at the Winter Gardens Opera House, directed by Duncan Jump. The show is a collaboration of dance schools within Lancashire.
The Hits From The Great Musicals is now in its 25th year and is staged to give children the opportunity to experience performing in live theatre, on the largest stage in Europe and which has been home to many of the world’s biggest stars throughout the years. We were fortunate to be invited to participate in the anniversary show and what a production it was, pyrotechnics, balloons, banners and feather showgirls. All schools who participated were awarded an engraved plaque to commemorate the anniversary.
As a school MTS have been involved for a number of years and pupils both current and previous all love performing on the Opera House stage, some even returning from University just to be part of the show.
