Fabulous Feet is the name of our bi-annual school showcase at The Horseshoe Show Bar, Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Come along and see our exceptionally talented pupils perform a showcase of dance, singing and musical theatre numbers, you will not be disappointed. Beautiful costumes, fabulous routines, amazing talent. Our last show was a sell out so early booking is advised. Shows are performed on Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Having performed at the venue for 4 years now the show has gone from strength to strength often selling out and many people watching more than one performance. Previously the school show has been performed in various venues however we have been lucky enough to secure the Horseshoe Show Bar for the last few years and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Our wonderfully talented and hardworking pupils and backstage team invite you to be thoroughly entertained this coming November.

Hits from The Great Musicals, Hits Reloaded, Christmas Hits, Tiny Tots Hits..... Are just some of the many productions performed at the Winter Gardens Opera House, directed by Duncan Jump. The show is a collaboration of dance schools within Lancashire. 

The Hits From The Great Musicals is now in its 25^th year and is staged to give children the opportunity to experience performing in live theatre, on the largest stage in Europe and which has been home to many of the world’s biggest stars throughout the years. We were fortunate to be invited to participate in the anniversary show and what a production it was, pyrotechnics, balloons, banners and feather showgirls. All schools who participated were awarded an engraved plaque to commemorate the anniversary.

As a school MTS have been involved for a number of years and pupils both current and previous all love performing on the Opera House stage, some even returning from University just to be part of the show.

I do believe in fairies, I do, I do. This year our in house pantomime told the story of Peter Pan and his adventures in Neverland.

Every other year we produce a fantastic pantomime totally within the walls of MTS. During musical theatre classes pupils design costumes, scenery and work on acting skills required to put on a splendid show of acting, singing and dance. All scenery is hand painted by the pupils and seniors students even get an opportunity to run backstage helping with lighting and props.

The pantomime is performed during November in the opposing year to the school show so pupils are performing every year. We are currently in the process of deciding on the next pantomime and will be auditioning for parts in the new year. If you would like to be involved why not try one of our musical theatre classes.
